WMT's TERMS AND CONDITIONS of business and PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS are as follows. Please print these notes for your records. This is WMT's contract with you with regard to cancellations etc. and you are agreeing to these terms when you submit a booking form.

All correspondence from WMT will be by email. Please ensure that we have a current email address for you. Detailed course joining instructions, which include travel advice, timings etc, will be EMAILED only in good time for you to make travel plans etc.

Your email address will be released to other course delegates to facilitate ride sharing etc UNLESS you ask us not to at the time of booking. We DO NOT divulge email addresses to other third parties.

Course places are limited and are not confirmed, provisionally held or prices guaranteed until the course place is paid for in full.

WMT does not issue pro forma invoices for individual course places. We are sorry if this inconveniences some clients but the administrative burden is simply too costly.

Payments & Receipts: Payments received will be acknowledged by email. Receipts are issued by email.

Overseas visitors & VAT: regardless of where you live outside of the UK (including within the EEC) WMT must charge you VAT to attend a UK based course.

Cancellations, refunds and deferment policy (does not apply to the Morocco Expedition*)

If you cancel 90 or more days before a course we will refund your fee in full less £50 + 3.5% if you paid by credit card, or you can transfer/defer to a later date within one year**. You will be charged £25 in addition to defer.

For cancellations 31-89 days before a course 50% of your fee will be refunded or you can transfer to a later date within one year**. You will be charged £25 in addition to defer.

If you cancel within 30 days of an event no refund will be given and no deferments will be permitted.

You must notify WMT in writing/email if you wish to cancel.

**If you transfer to a later course date and the course fee has gone up, we will ask you to pay the difference. If the course fee goes down, no refund will be given. Deferments will only be permitted once. If you do not take up your deferred place once you have confirmed your attendance, no refunds or further deferments will be allowed. Deferments will only be allowed for up to one year from the date you cancelled. It is your responsibility to contact WMT to arrange a deferment.

*For the Morocco Expedition, no refunds or deferments will be allowed if you cancel less than 60 days from the expedition. Deferments will be allowed only for the next expedition if you cancel more than 60 days from the start date. If we cease to run the expedition, you can transfer your fee to a different course within one year. Any difference in fees will not be refunded. If you transfer to a more expensive course you must pay the difference. A £25 administration fee will apply to any deferment.

Under exceptional circumstances, WMT reserves the right to cancel any course for whatever reason and return monies paid without further liability. Delegates are advised to have appropriate cancellation insurance in case you have to cancel a course place.

Course content and faculty are subject to confirmation.

What course fees include: all course fees include notes, materials, refreshments and VAT in the UK (VAT not applied to Chamonix/Morocco events). Some courses include meals or full board and other services/activities. No refunds are apportioned for late arrival, no-shows, early departure or any unused element of any course. WMT reserves the right to withhold a course certificate if a student, in WMT's view, fails to attend any significant part of the course.

How to Pay for a Course Place: by bank transfer, cheque or credit/debit card:

We no longer publish our bank details due to security threats. Once you book, you'll receive an auto-email confirmation with our bank details.

Cheques are only accepted in pounds stirling.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD payments can be made via the booking form or by telephone. Currently, no surcharge is made for ordinary VISA, MASTERCARD or debit cards. AMEX is not accepted. A surcharge is made for Corporate or Business credit cards and others at WMT's discretion. You will be advised if a surcharge applies before your card is debited. WMT reserves the right to amend these conditions at any time and they will apply to NEW bookings.
